Shipping Methods and Fees

Shipping charges are calculated at the cart based on the item(s) and delivery location for Furniture & large Decor orders Australia wide.

We offer Flat Rate Shipping on small Décor orders UK wide at £12.00 plus GST

Please note that the estimated delivery times (3 to 14 business days) are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and shipping method.

Note: Restrictions may apply on some products which cannot be shipped to remote destinations. Please contact us if you would like to ask if we can ship to your location.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. Please allow additional processing time during peak holiday periods.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track your order on our website or the website of the shipping carrier.

Delivery Information

We require an Australian street or residential address for all deliveries as our delivery partners cannot deliver to a PO Box or Australia Post Pickup point.

Standard delivery services by our delivery partners are strictly to ground floor and/or front door only. These services do not include:

  • Above ground floor delivery via stairs or lift
  • Product assembly or unboxing
  • Removing packaging or product wrapping
  • Removal of old furniture or décor items

Customers may be required to organise assistance from another person to take furniture from the ground floor, or from the front door and inside the premises. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that the packaged product(s) will fit through doorways and/or elevators before placing your order. Box dimensions can be found on each product listing on our website.

If you require extra services such as above ground floor via stairs or lift, assembly, and/or rubbish removal, please get in touch with our team beforehand with our customer service representatives by email.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that there is reasonable access to allow the goods to be delivered. If the goods are unable to be delivered due to access, cancellation fees may apply depending on whether the product was customised or not. The fee will be charged in addition to the actual cost of delivery and collection of the product.

Unattended Addresses, Futile Deliveries, Delivery Cancellations

For secure delivery of your items to the designated address, we recommend ensuring someone is available to sign for receipt of the goods upon arrival. Your contact information and phone numbers are shared with our logistics partners, who will proactively reach out to you beforehand to provide an estimated delivery date and approximate time. This proactive communication allows you to plan accordingly and ensure a smooth receipt of your items.

If there is nobody to sign for the goods when they are delivered the freight carrier will leave a missed delivery advice card in your letter box advising of the failed delivery. The goods will then be returned to their local depot, and you will then need to contact the freight carrier directly to arrange an appropriate time for a re-delivery.

If the delivery address is unattended or the client will no longer be available to accept the delivery, the client will need to contact us and authorise an “Authority to Leave” on the order, with at least 24 business hours’ notice. Please note that an authority to leave will void any liability that covers any loss, theft, or damage to your product(s) offered via Oak & Nordic of our delivery partner.

If there is a futile delivery, please note that the original freight charge will be forfeited and recharged as a rebooking fee. There may also be separate futile delivery charges.

Requests for delivery cancellations must be lodged within 48 business hours prior to delivery to avoid fees. If there is a cancellation on the delivery date, the original freight charge will be forfeited. There may also be separate futile delivery charges.
